Midnight

Time stands still

In the middle of the night

When the children went to sleep

And the streets are filled with light

When the birds no longer sing

And there are no more driving cars

The flashlights in the street

Block away the falling stars

Everything is quiet

The crickets aren't heard

If someone cries for help

And now the end is far
